Background
I was born and raised in Verona, Italy, and have lived in Los Angeles since 2014. Before that I lived in Uppsala, Santa Barbara, New Delhi and London.
I used to run the innovation and startup program for the Italian Government in Los Angeles. Earlier I worked at the Italian Embassy in Stockholm, at the United Nations refugee agency (UNHCR) in New Delhi, and at Amnesty International IS in London.
I have a Master's degree in International Relations from the University of Trento. I studied at the University of Padua, UC Santa Barbara and Uppsala University. I hold a FISAR sommelier diploma and I play drums.
I am married to Kelly and father to Yuna and Noemi. My sister Laura is a Paris-based multidisciplinary artist. My dad is a retired high school professor of Italian literature and history, and a journalist. My mom is a retired elementary school teacher. My cat’s name is Pablo, and he is awesome.
